NEW TRAINEE AWARD

The NZGCSA Executive finalised the new award for trainees to replace the old Trainee of the Year Award. Please note due to feed back from members the criteria for this award has been amended with the removal of the age restriction.

Criteria for Award.

Nominations for the award will only be received from a Regional Association that is part of the Management Committee of the New Zealand Golf Course Superintendents Association Inc.

Nominations must be on the prescribed nomination form, this will include a profile form for each nominee. These will be supplied by NZGCSA.
Those Nominees selected for the finals will have all their costs associated with the final covered by either the New Zealand Golf Course Superintendents Association Inc or approved sponsors of the award.

Nominees must meet the following criteria.

Must have completed their training by the time of the judging of the finals.
Must have been a member of the New Zealand Golf Course Superintendents Association Inc for at lest two years.

1. The following time line will take effect

a		Nominations from Regional Association called for.
b		Follow up Regional Nominations.
c		Nominations Close
d		Profiles reviewed and short list produced.
e		Judging to be completed and winner announced
