These Awards replace the old New Zealand Golf Course Superintendents Association Inc Merit Awards and are effective as of 2005

New Zealand Golf Course Superintendents Association Inc Host Recognition Award
Presented to
The Course Superintendent that hosted the selected Tournament.
In Recognition of Excellence
This award is in recognition of excellence in the field of Course Presentation by the host Superintendent.
Award Presentation
All Awards are to be presented by New Zealand Golf Course Superintendents Association Inc President or delegated Executive at an appropriate Regional event. Awards will be in the form of a New Zealand Golf Course Superintendents Association Inc Certificate of Excellence.

· NZ Open
· NZ Inter Provincial
· South Island Amateur Championship
· North Island Amateur Championship
· NZ Amateur Championship
· NZ Women’s Amateur Championship
· NZ Women’s Stroke Play Championship
· NZ Women’s Inter Provincial
· ING New Zealand PGA Championship
Each year Superintendents hosting major one off major tournaments will also be considered for the award.

· The Sir Michael Bonallack Trophy.
