As previously advised, the NZGCSA AGM will take place during the Fine Turf Seminar in Taupo.
A reminder to those who wish to attend that this will take place on Tuesday 18 June at 8.00 am (yes nice and early again!) at the Great Lake Centre in Taupo.
A copy of the NZGCSA end of year financial accounts will be available before hand if you would like a copy by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
The Players Championship Volunteer Program - supported by John Deere
The NZGCSA is excited to announce a one in a life time opportunity for one of our NZGCSA members!
With thanks to John Deere and also in conjunction with the Australian Golf Course Superintendents Association (AGCSA), The Players Championship (TPC) Volunteer Program has been launched - which in March 2020 will see one NZGCSA member and three AGCSA members head to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida in the US to join the course management team at TPC Sawgrass and help prepare the famed Stadium Course for The Players Championship in what is an outstanding career development opportunity.
Selected persons will join the TPC Sawgrass maintenance team for the duration of The Players Championship, with travel, accommodation, meals and uniform all included.
To apply you must be a NZGCSA member (for the last 12 months or longer) and the application process involves 3 stages.
Stage one: Register your interest.
Stage two: Formal application.
Stage three: Interview.
The deadline for registering your interest (Stage 1) is Friday 31 May 2019, with all videos to be received by the NZGCSA (Stage 2) by Wednesday 31 July 2019.

Fine Turf Seminar 2019
The Central North Island Turf Managers Association (CNITMA) in conjunction with the Sports Turf Association NZ (STANZ) is hosting the 2019 Fine Turf Seminar which is being held in Taupo on 16-18 June 2019 at the Great Lake Centre.
This promises to be a information filled event along with the anticipated golf tournament on the Sunday and CNITMA dinner on the Monday night.
Registrations have now closed for the FTS but keep an eye on our facebook page and website for any updates and also on the Central North Island Turf Managers Association facebook page, you can also follow them to keep up with any information and happenings for the FTS.
