About the Role
This is a full-time leadership position for someone who enjoys being actively involved on the course while leading a small, capable team. Reporting to the General Manager and Board, you will oversee all aspects of course maintenance and development, supported by an experienced 2IC and qualified Greenkeeper.
Key responsibilities include:
Course presentation and daily maintenance
Turf, soil and agronomic management
Staff leadership and volunteer coordination
Machinery operation and maintenance planning
Irrigation and water management
Budgeting, planning and contractor management

About You
You will bring:
NZ Turf qualification (minimum Level 3 Sports Turf Management)
GROWSAFE certification (or willingness to obtain)
Strong knowledge of turf management, golf course presentation, and agrichemical application
Experience managing machinery and maintaining high-quality playing surfaces
Leadership experience with small teams and volunteers
Good planning, budgeting and communication skills
A proactive, practical, and collaborative approach
Full New Zealand driver's licence

Te Marua Golf Club - Head Greenkeeper
Te Marua Golf club is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Greenkeeper to work and continue the fantastic work our current tight knit team are doing with our picturesque course, one of the best in Wellington. All applicants of this role will be considered for the position of Head Greenkeeper.
About the Role:
Initially reporting to the current Head Greenkeeper, and taking over when Head Greenkeeper retires, you will be involved in all aspects of course and greens maintenance, including machinery operation and routine equipment servicing.
This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with seasonal variations and rostered weekend work required from time to time.
Requirements:

Garden Maintenance Operations Manager
Groundswell Landscapes is offering an outstanding senior leadership opportunity for an experienced horticultural professional to take ownership of our garden maintenance division during an exciting period of growth.
This is a key leadership role within the business, responsible for driving the performance, growth and ongoing development of our high-end maintenance operations across both Queenstown and Wānaka. The successful candidate will play a major role in shaping the future of the division through team leadership, client relationship management, business development, quoting and pricing, customer service, and the continual improvement of systems and processes.
The role is approximately a 50/50 split between hands-on gardening work and operational management. Marton Golf Club Course Superintendent
Marton Golf Club is in the heart of the Rangitikei.
The course is set on gentle rolling dune country and operates in a rural environment close to the towns of Marton and Bulls, and 20-30 minutes from Palmerston North and Whanganui. The course is an 18 hole, par 72 parkland layout, developed in the 1950s.

There will be a planned 2-to-3-month transition to ensure continuity is maintained for our members and the new Course Superintendent is well established in both the new role and lifestyle on the Island. Role Overview
